Caractéristique de l’œuvre :

L’œuvre utilise la technique du Cyanotype, procédé photographique ancien à base de sels ferriques, produisant une teinte bleu profond.

Elle représente des Corbs, poissons des fonds méditerranéens glissant dans les eaux peuplées de posidonies.

Ils évoluent dans une composition où certaines zones sont détaillées avec précision, tandis que d’autres sont volontairement floutées, suggérant le mouvement et la profondeur de l’eau, créant une impression de nage suspendue.

Les bords du support sont réhaussés par de la peinture acrylique bleue de Prusse, appliquée à la main, qui encadre la composition et accentue l’intensité du bleu central. Le support utilisé est un papier Fabriano à grain satiné, composé à 100 % de coton, avec un grammage de 300 g/m², idéal pour accueillir le Cyanotype par sa capacité d’absorption et sa stabilité dimensionnelle.

Elle est signée à l’avant par des initiales courtes et par une signature complète à l’arrière.

Description of the work:

The work uses the cyanotype technique, an ancient photographic process based on ferric salts, producing a deep blue hue.

It depicts eel-tailed eel, fish from the Mediterranean seabed, gliding through waters populated by seagrass.

They move within a composition where some areas are precisely detailed, while others are deliberately blurred, suggesting the movement and depth of the water, creating an impression of suspended swimming.

The edges of the support are enhanced with hand-applied Prussian blue acrylic paint, which frames the composition and accentuates the intensity of the central blue. The support used is Fabriano satin-grain paper, made of 100% cotton, with a weight of 300 g/m², ideal for cyanotype printing due to its absorbency and dimensional stability.

It is signed on the front with short initials and a full signature on the back.

It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
