Caractéristique de l’œuvre :

Cette pièce est une exploration sensible du contraste entre matière et géométrie, réalisée en cyanotype en mélange avec des encres et aquarelle sur papier, rehaussée de broderie au fil blanc.

Le fond, aux nuances profondes de bleu de Prusse et de Cyan, évoque une vague nocturne atteignant le ciel nocturne. Sur cette surface vibrante, des lignes blanches brodées tracent des formes géométriques en forme de zigzag et qui évoquent une chaîne de montagnes. Un arc circulaire et une pleine lune brodée flottent dans la partie supérieure, comme des fragments célestes.

La combinaison entre le cyanotype et la broderie manuelle crée une tension entre le geste précis du fil et le hasard des fluides bleus.

Réalisé sur papier Fabriano grain torchon 100% coton 300g/m². Signé seulement à l’arrière.

Description of the work:

This piece is a sensitive exploration of the contrast between matter and geometry, created in cyanotype using inks and watercolor on paper, enhanced with white thread embroidery.

The background, in deep shades of Prussian blue and cyan, evokes a nocturnal wave reaching the night sky. On this vibrant surface, embroidered white lines trace geometric zigzag shapes reminiscent of a mountain range. A circular arc and an embroidered full moon float in the upper part, like celestial fragments.

The combination of cyanotype and hand embroidery creates a tension between the precise movement of the thread and the randomness of the blue fluids.

Produced on 300gsm 100% cotton Fabriano tea towel-like paper. Signed only on the back.
