Cette pièce explore l’équilibre vacillant entre les différentes formes géométriques superposées les unes aux autres.

La fragilité apparente de cette structure de formes irrégulières, empilées dans une dynamique ascendante est contrecarré par son maintien dans l’espace et sa silhouette ascendant qui s’étire vers le haut.

Le papier Fabriano, travaillé avec de la pâte à bois, offre une texture brute, irrégulière et organique, cette surface est peinte par deux tons de peinture acrylique, un beige parchemin et une teinte blanche éclatante qui soulignent les reliefs et les tensions internes de la matière.

Le socle, en balsa peint en blanc, apporte une légèreté visuelle tout en contrastant avec la densité de la sculpture. Il repose sur un dessous en cuir brun de vachette, ajoutant une note douce et chaleureuse à l’ensemble.

Cette œuvre invite à une lecture intuitive des volumes, entre construction et effacement, stabilité et déséquilibre maîtrisé.

This piece explores the shaky balance between different geometric shapes superimposed on each other.

The apparent fragility of this structure of irregular shapes, stacked in an upward dynamic, is counteracted by its stability in space and its ascending silhouette that stretches upward.

The Fabriano paper, worked with wood pulp, offers a raw, irregular, and organic texture. This surface is painted with two shades of acrylic paint, a parchment beige and a bright white hue, which emphasize the reliefs and internal tensions of the material.

The base, made of white-painted balsa wood, provides a visual lightness while contrasting with the density of the sculpture. It rests on a brown cowhide base, adding a soft and warm touch to the overall effect.

This work invites an intuitive reading of its volumes, between construction and erasure, stability and controlled imbalance.
