Cette œuvre évoque une mer méditerranéenne suspendue dans la lumière, où le bleu et le blanc se mêlent dans une texture vibrante, presque atmosphérique. La composition, à la fois abstraite et suggestive, laisse deviner la présence d’un phare rouge ( phare de la digue de la grande rade côté Saint-Mandrier). Les nuances se fondent en une écriture picturale fluide, entre matière et transparence, rappelant les reflets de l’eau et la densité de l’air salin.

Characteristics of the work

This work evokes a Mediterranean sea suspended in light, where blue and white blend in a vibrant, almost atmospheric texture. The composition, both abstract and suggestive, hints at the presence of a red lighthouse (the lighthouse on the breakwater of the main harbor, on the Saint-Mandrier side). The nuances merge into a fluid pictorial style, between matter and transparency, recalling the reflections on the water and the density of the salty air.

Influenced by a post-Impressionist sensibility, the work translates light not as a simple phenomenon, but as a living substance, permeating the surface and revealing the memory of the place. It invites silent contemplation, where the sea becomes an inner space, an intimate horizon, and the vibration of time.

The digital collage is printed on 300gsm paper using pigment inks on EPSON Cotton Smooth Bright 300gsm paper.
