Cette œuvre puise son inspiration directe dans le Soleil et les phénomènes de rayonnement qui l’entourent. Réalisée à l’acrylique et aux pigments sur toile, appliqués sur un gesso enrichi de poudre de bois d’olivier, elle propose une interprétation cartographique de l’astre. Des lignes sinueuses dessinent des contours évoquant une topographie imaginaire, tandis qu’une couronne solaire se déploie autour du centre de la composition, comme la trace visible de l’énergie en expansion. Les nuances d’ocre et de jaune, associées aux projections de matière et aux textures, traduisent la puissance, la chaleur et les mouvements subtils qui animent la surface solaire. Entre observation scientifique et abstraction poétique, l’œuvre invite à contempler le Soleil comme un territoire à explorer, dont les reliefs et les vibrations se révèlent sous la forme d’une cartographie sensible.
L’œuvre est également dotée d’un système de rétroéclairage intégré comprenant un ruban LED installé à l’intérieur du châssis, derrière la toile. Réglable en température de couleur et en intensité lumineuse grâce à une télécommande fournie, ce dispositif laisse filtrer la lumière à travers certaines craquelures de la surface picturale. This piece draws direct inspiration from the Sun and the phenomena of radiation surrounding it. Created using acrylics and pigments on canvas—applied over a gesso base enriched with olive wood powder—it offers a cartographic interpretation of the star. Sinuous lines trace contours evoking an imaginary topography, while a solar corona unfolds around the composition’s center, like the visible trace of expanding energy. Shades of ochre and yellow, combined with textured material and splatters, convey the power, heat, and subtle movements animating the solar surface. Bridging scientific observation and poetic abstraction, the work invites the viewer to contemplate the Sun as a territory to be explored, where its contours and vibrations are revealed through a sensitive cartography.
The artwork also features an integrated backlighting system, consisting of an LED strip installed inside the frame behind the canvas. With adjustable color temperature and brightness controlled by an included remote, this system allows light to filter through specific cracks in the painted surface. This reveals an additional dimension to the piece, extending the evocation of solar radiation through a subtle, shifting luminous presence.
