Cette œuvre est inspirée de photographies personnelles de la ville de Marrakech au Maroc.

Elle présente une scène où une femme est assise devant une grande porte en forme d’arc, baignée dans des tons rosés et magenta évoquant la chaleur et la profondeur. L’architecture mauresque, avec ses lignes élégantes et son jeu d’ombres, confère à la composition un sentiment de mystère et de tranquillité.
