Caractéristiques de l’œuvre :

Cette pièce met en lumière une seiche, représentée à travers une palette de couleurs vibrantes mêlant nuances de brun, de vert et de bleu. Placée au cœur de la composition, la créature marine évolue au sein d’un herbier de posidonies stylisées, structuré par des bandes verticales vertes et animé par des éclats bleus qui insufflent dynamisme et spontanéité à l’ensemble.

Le nom latin de l’animal est inscrit sur la toile, ajoutant une touche scientifique à cette interprétation artistique.

Composition de la structure :

L’œuvre est encadrée dans une caisse américaine en bois brut, elle-même superposée dans une seconde caisse américaine dont le fond peint transforme l’ensemble en véritable boîte à clés. Sept crochets sculptés à la main dans du bois d’olivier permettent d’y suspendre des clés, alliant esthétique et fonctionnalité.

Deux charnières dorées assurent l’ouverture du cadre extérieur, tandis qu’un loquet doré permet de refermer la boîte avec élégance. Le fond, pré-percé de deux trous, offre la possibilité de fixer l’œuvre directement au mur.

Ce tableau s’inscrit dans la lignée de l’exposition « Posidonia« , qui explore la plante sous-marine et les habitants de cet herbier méditerranéen.

Artwork Features:

This piece features a cuttlefish, depicted in a vibrant color palette blending shades of brown, green, and blue. Placed at the heart of the composition, the marine creature moves within a bed of stylized Posidonia, structured by vertical green stripes and enlivened by bursts of blue that infuse the whole with dynamism and spontaneity.

The animal’s Latin name is inscribed on the canvas, adding a scientific touch to this artistic interpretation.

Frame Composition:

The work is framed in a rough wooden floating box, itself superimposed on a second floating box whose painted background transforms the whole into a veritable key box. Seven hooks, hand-carved from olive wood, allow keys to be hung on it, combining aesthetics and functionality.

Two gold-plated hinges secure the outer frame, while a gold latch elegantly closes the box. The base, pre-drilled with two holes, allows the artwork to be mounted directly on the wall.
