Caractéristique de l’œuvre :

Cette œuvre se déploie sous la forme d’un panneau rectangulaire sur lequel sont cousus trois carrés distincts, réalisés sur du papier Arches 100 % coton, au grammage généreux de 300g/m². Chaque carré explore des nuances profondes de bleus.

Les contours, brodés de fil de coton blanc, introduisent un léger relief tactile qui structure visuellement chaque élément tout en soulignant les ondulations naturelles de l’aquarelle.

Par endroits, le papier est doublé et rehaussé de broderies fines, dessinant des lignes blanches sinueuses qui parcourent la surface comme des courants invisibles, accentuant l’effet topographique. Les bordures des carrés se prolongent ainsi dans une dentelle discrète, comme une respiration graphique.

L’œuvre joue subtilement avec les contrastes de lumière et d’ombre, les transparences et les rythmes, évoquant un voyage sensoriel à travers les éléments comme l’eau, l’air, et la glace.

L’œuvres est signée par une signature complète au dos.

Description of the work:

This work unfolds in the form of a rectangular panel onto which three separate squares are sewn, made on Arches 100% cotton paper, with a generous 300gsm weight. Each square explores deep shades of blue.

The contours, embroidered with white cotton thread, introduce a slight tactile relief that visually structures each element while highlighting the natural undulations of the watercolor.

In places, the paper is lined and enhanced with fine embroidery, drawing sinuous white lines that run across the surface like invisible currents, accentuating the topographical effect. The borders of the squares thus extend into a discreet lacework, like a graphic breath.

The work subtly plays with contrasts of light and shadow, transparencies, and rhythms, evoking a sensory journey through elements such as water, air, and ice.

The work is signed with a full signature on the back.

It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
